Why we give.
2 Corinthians 9:7 (ESV) Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Thank you for your interest in supporting Ely Baptist Church. Giving (i.e., tithing) is not a way to absolve oneself of guilt or gain favor with God—Jesus has already secured that for us. Instead, giving is a joyful response to God’s gifts and kindness toward us. Your generosity helps us continue our mission of loving God, loving others and making disciples.
All contributions and offerings are used to further our mission of sharing God’s love in our community.
